Luke’s Mandalorian entrance synced to ‘Hold out for a hero’

Holding out for a hero” syncs so well with the final Mandalorian scene, it is a work of genius

I love the Mandalorian, the internet, and the fact that people with loads of time on their hands can edit and be creative everywhere. Yesterday, on my other site, I shared a trailer for Frasier 2022, where he had turned evil.

Well, possibly while down the same Youtube rabbit hole, I came across someone genius who had edited the Mandalorian scene at the end of season 2, where Luke Skywalker is totally badass – but to the theme tune of Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Holding out for a hero’. This is what the internet and technology is for.

I should point out that this wasn’t coincidental. The clip times up to the music due to a lot of talented tweaking from a YouTuber called Bugzkilla. This kind of thing seems like a fun whimsy, but often leads to greater things and opportunities for creators and I am totally up for supporting them. He has also done loads more, if you want to check out his channel.

I should point out that I am in no way affiliated with whoever they are, I just like this kind of thing and support creativity. (Feel free to look at some of my short stories!)

Here is what he wrote on YouTube:

This video took quite a bit of time and effort to create so I appreciate all your feedback. I edited it in Adobe Premiere Pro and it has over 50 cuts. I also slowed down, sped up, rearranged, and even reversed some scenes to get it to sync up. I’ve created a Ko-fi page if you’d like to support me (or you can commission your own video edit): https://ko-fi.com/bugzkilla

Without further waffle, here is the awesome sync of Luke Skywalker in the Mandalorian to the brilliant tune ‘Holding out for a hero’. Take it away Luke, Bonnie, and Baby Yoda!
