Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods, Part 2 looks insane

Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods, Part 2 popped up on my YouTube feed last night. I had somehow missed all the hype. Maybe there wasn’t any. Either way, it comes out today!

I loved Doom Eternal but I am not going to lie – it was insane fun but it stressed me out. I tend to play aggressively and enjoy slightly insane games. I recently finished Borderlands 3 for example, and you can read my review by clicking here.

Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods, Part 2 is the second DLC that wraps up the whole Doom Slayer saga. While that sounds kind of final, it won’t be the end of the series. Obviously. I have been playing Doom most of my life and they’d be mad to finish now. This is a pretty huge finale though – the space marine versus the Dark Lord of Hell.

Additionally, the devs have said it isn’t the end of Doom. The game director said in a Gamesradar interview:

“This is our version of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader going at it,” teases game director Hugo Martin. “But it’s not the end of the Doom universe. There are more stories to tell. And I think when you look at the world of Part 2 as you play through it, you can see where we could go, and things that we could do.”

The main that that drew me to write this was the absolutely insanely awesome trailer. Space marine on a dragon, spaceships, demons, super-power weapons and more. So without further ado, here’s the trailer.
