Jurassic World 2 Official Trailer #3

Now that is a sexy and unique sounding title. To be honest, I wasn’t going to post any more Jurassic World 2 trailers because I didn’t think anything new would be added after having watched the last one. But I was wrong. They are going in a completely different direction from what I thought. It looks great and I was pretty damned excited about the film already. Although I should admit that I love dinosaurs almost as much as pirates, roguish adventurers in space, and zombies. God, I miss Firefly.

Anyway, be warned – spoilers from the trailer are about to be discussed. Also, be warned – the trailer seems to give away a ton of the plot, so if you don’t want to have some possible twists ruined, look at something else. Frankly, it is a dinosaur film, so I’m not too concerned that the plot may be ruined. I just want to see bad characters we meet and innocent screaming people we don’t meet, getting munched by a variety of toothy dinosaurs.

I quite enjoyed Jurassic Park 2 right up to the bit where the T Rex lands in America and wanders about a bit, scaring kids and dogs for some pointless reason. The end of that film was just kind of dull. Jurassic World 2 however, seems to run with the idea of having loads of them getting loose in the world of humans (which probably means America). If the new direction is dinosaurs spreading all over the world, then that would be great. I really hope that they don’t recapture most of them by the end. I suspect they will but the final shot will show that a couple got away. Ideally, I want a semi-apocalypse like the TV show Zoo, except with dinosaurs running wild and it being good to watch.  We shall see.

If this does badly then I guess Jurassic World 3 will be set in China with dragons. Becuase box office.
