I have become an influencer and other news

The other day I got an email about being an influencer on Amazon. I hate the term influencer and all it entails but I do love sharing great science fiction, so thought I would give it a go. You basically just need enough followers on various social media sites and you are good. I decided to recommend science fiction books because that is the sort of thing I think the world should be more interested in. I have only written up two books so far (Hitchhikers and Bill the Galactic Hero) but the number will build. If you are interested you can check it out by click on this.

As some regular readers may have noted, I have changed the layout of the website again. I wanted to update and thought I would try a new WordPress theme that was simple and easy to use. Unfortunately, things went a little weird and it is all still a work in progress. Simplicity is a subjective term it seems. I had designed a large and exciting header but then discovered that would no longer fit so now I have a reasonable sized and not very exciting header. Soon there it will return to excitement.

I have been read a lot of epic science fiction novels recently and they are very satisfying but somewhat exhausting. I have loads more to read that have recently come out, including Children of Ruin by Adrian Tchaikovsky, the sequel to the the superb Children of Time. There is also Tiamat’s Wrath by James S.A. Corey , the latest book in the Expanse series. And lots more. As always, I will review when I get a moment. In between huge serious scifi, I will cleanse my palette with another Space Team book or two.

So bear with me! Things are busy and in a time of flux. There is a lot of good science fiction greatness coming out right now, so plenty to be getting on with. I will update my influencer page more regularly as well, in case you want a nudge as to what to read next. Enjoy.
