Bill & Ted Face the Music

It has been almost 30 years but finally the third part of the Bill & Ted trilogy is almost upon us. Bill & Ted Face the Music will be released on 21 August 2020, assuming society manages to hold it together till then.

The trailer came out the the 9th July and here is a fact you may not know – in America, where their dating system is mental, that dat is 6/9. Or 69. Bill & Ted’s favourite number.

I haven’t rewatched the first two in, well, decades. I have such fond memories, I worry that they won’t stand the test of time. When they originally came out I watched them both a ton of times because we had them on VHS and there was fuck all else to do back then when it rained. Bill & Ted’s excellent Adventure came out when I was 17 and that plus Wayne’s World probably shaped me to become the dynamic person I am today, writing this on my bed at home in the middle of the afternoon.

If this is decent and makes money, I predict it will only be a matter of time before Wayne’s World 3 is made. You heard it here first. Possibly.

I love a tale set around the concept of time. They remind me of this small collection of awesome stories.

Time, funnily enough, will tell how good it is. Cinemas are open again where I am so barring a second wave of the virus or riots that burn everything down, I’ll be there. Here is the trailer. Party on dudes!
