The Thor Ragnarok trailers really are some of the best things on the internet right now. This one has been around for a couple of days and already has over 20 million views. Three of them are from me, but that is still pretty impressive and this one doesn’t even have a Led Zeppelin soundtrack.
The film seems to be set almost entirely off Earth, possibly setting the groundwork for crossovers with Guardians of the Galaxy and linking to the upcoming Infinity War. Marvel is just being awesome right now and pumping out movies I have really, really enjoyed. Both Ruffalo and Hemsworth have great comic timing and this looks a lot of fun. It was initially supposed to come out in July but now it seems like it will be October, which is a shame. Anyway, here is the Thor Ragnarok official trailer. Enjoy:
The last two Thor movies have been ok. Not great but entertaining none the less. Ragnarok seems like it is going in a very different direction and looks like it could be a shitload of fun. Fewer plotlines about people being tricked by Loki the Trickster and more space adventure goodness. In fact, as the trailer went on I was fully expecting one of the Guardians of the Galaxy to pop in and say something witty. I will be surprised if that doesn’t happen in the Ragnarok at some point.
I think this looks great but that could just be I have been in a long excitement build up to Guardians 2 and this feels like a crossover. Plus – Led Zeppelin. Zeppelin rule. Enjoy.
I wasn’t going to post another trailer so soon but it’s Spiderman! It’s a reboot, so the first one of the series will definitely be good. Also, it is now under the lovely Marvel umbrella and frankly, they can’t seem to go wrong at the moment. Here you go – Spiderman: Homecoming.
The new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is here and I am mighty excited. It looks great. I hope they don’t play up baby Groot for cuteness too much but I have complete faith in everyone involved. The film isn’t released until May 2017 which feels like a hell of a long time away. They could at least release what will probably be an awesome soundtrack first, but it is unlikely.
Anyway, here is the second trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Looks fun.
I remember seeing the trailer for the original Guardians of the Galaxy and thinking it looked like it might be fun. Given the characters, including a talking raccoon and a tree, there was also quite a high potential for it to be a bit shit. Thankfully, it wasn’t just fun, it was superb and it now one of my favorite films of all time. It also has one of my favorite soundtracks of all time. So fingers crossed, no pressure for the sequel.
So far, there has just been a “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2” trailer and a ton of cool posters. The trailer came out last week, but I was on a beach and some people may have missed it. So here it is again. It looks great.
This is apparently the last trailer for Captain America: Civil War and it looks tremendously exciting. I read the comics but it was ages ago and I can’t really remember what happened except the Captain America was on one side and Iron Man was on the other. Also Spiderman and the Punisher appeared along with a ton of others. It looks a bit like Avengers 3 as opposed to a straight Captain America flick.
In the trailer there are a lot of returning characters and some new ones that set my senses a-tingling. You will see what I mean. I think this looks great although I always wonder why Hawkeye doesn’t just stand back and shoot from afar. Maybe he gets bored.
Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. is coming! It’s official. I just saw a trailer for it before the Simpsons about 20 minutes ago. Our American chums will get it on the 24th of September and we will get in on the 27th on Channel 4. Which means I can watch it in HD and definitely won’t be downloading it on the 24th the moment it appears. Definitely won’t.
In case you didn’t know, Agents of SHIELD (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division) are elite lads and lasses who work for a top secret agency that investigates slightly weird shit. They also exist in the same world as the Avengers so there will be some cool things to investigate. Curiously, the series starts after the events of the Avenger’s film yet features Agent Coulson who died. But as I mentioned, this is a world with the Incredible Hulk in it, so I’m sure there’s a way round that problem.
I can’t wait for Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD. It’s made by Joss Whedon who made Buffy, Firefly, and the Avengers movie. All of which were superb. Even Dollhouse was pretty watchable. So bring on the 27th (or the 24th)!
